Overview
G D Goenka Public School, Lucknow, is a coeducational day cum residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 2011 by AK Goenka, chairman of the GD Goenka Group, the school offers education from pre-nursery through class X.

Accomodation
GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow offers separate air-conditioned hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel room has an attached bath facility with hot & cold water supply and study-rooms. A common room shared between two rooms has individual study tables, reading table and a plasma TV for entertainment. All rooms have network ports and high speed network/internet access.
Each floor of the hostel has resident staff to take care of the students.
Academics
The school follows a comprehensive academic program, along with the flexibility, opportunities and encouragement to develop every child’s hidden potential.
A traditional and interdisciplinary approach along with additional opportunities for minor concentrations and individualised programmes are deployed. An individual learning plan is drawn for each child and teachers acquire specific knowledge, skills and experience in dealing with diversity in class. The teacher student ratio is 2:25 for pre-primary section and 1:25 for primary section and above.
Extracurriculars
Students are coached in cricket, football, hockey, basketball, tennis, badminton and athletics.

Admission
The school publishes an advertisement in leading newspapers announcing admissions for preschool in the first week of December. Application forms can be collected from the school reception on all working days between 8 am to 3 pm. Duly filled admission forms along with requisite documents should be submitted at the school office within five days from the date of purchase. The completion of admission formalities including payment of fee should be done within three working days.
