Overview
Set up in 1960 on the erstwhile Prabhat Studio premises at Pune, Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) boasts a rich legacy in quality Indian cinema. FTII is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. Its policies are determined by a Governing Council.
Campus
FTII campus is well-equipped with modern equipments. Students initially work with the low-end equipment and gradually get to use the advanced equipment through demonstrations and individual practicals.
The campus also hosts a multimedia laboratory, a book, film and video library, sports and games facilities.
