Overview
The Eicher School was founded in 1994 by Good Earth Foundation in Sector 46, Faridabad. It is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), offering education from pre-primary to senior secondary level.
The school boasts a teacher-student ratio of 1:22 and special feature of visit to every child’s home to observe the child in his/her home environment. The school also provides education to children with special needs.
Campus
Spread over 12 acres, the school campus hosts well-equipped classrooms with computer-aided teaching system, a well-stocked library, conference room, medical room, art room, dance and music room, well furnished science library for middle school and separate math, chemistry, biology, physics and computer labs for senior classes. Sports facilities include play ground, swimming pool, skating rink and badminton court.
Academics
The Eicher School is affiliated with the CBSE board. The academic programme of this school is grouped into four levels - pre-primary, primary, senior and senior secondary. English and Hindi are the main languages and the third language is French. The school follows Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) method for the students of all classes. Special classes on thinking, observation, memory and communication skills are conducted regularly to ensure holistic development of the child.
Extracurricular: Along with academics the school promotes a host of co-curricular activities such as music, art & craft, dance, debates, on-site learning, declamation, field work, theatre and poetry. Sports activities at Eicher School include basket ball, football, volleyball, swimming, badminton, skating, table tennis, chess and carom.
