Overview
Ecole Globale International Girls’ School at Dehradun is an English medium, fully residential girls’ school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi for the primary, middle school and senior school curriculum and the UK based University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) for the senior secondary curriculum.
The name ‘Ecole Globale’ is derived from French word for school - Ecole and Globale, which means global. As the name suggests, it follows a holistic approach to education and offers a global curriculum.
The school campus sprawls over 40 acres, offering world-class facilities to its students. The admission process commences in November and closes in mid-February. A teacher-student ratio of 1:10 is followed to facilitate individual attention to each child.
Campus
Ecole Globale School is sited on a 40 acre campus facilitating state-of-the-art temperature controlled classrooms equipped with ICT enabled learning rooms. The school offers spacious computer labs equipped with Apple computers and the latest technology, a library featuring 2550 books with 450 specimen copies. The school also houses two auditoriums, which enables seating of 500 people each.
The school hosts world class sports facilities including a cricket pitch, basket ball court, football court, billiards table, swimming pool, lawn tennis court, badminton court, squash facilities, gymnasium, golf training, riding arena, rock climbing and table tennis.

Academics
Ecole Globale International Girls’ School is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi for Grade I to X curriculum and with UK based CIE for the senior secondary curriculum. The school follows a teacher-student ratio of 1:10 to facilitate effective learning.
Extracurricular:
Besides academics, the school encourages extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as needlecraft, music- Classical Indian vocal, tabla, guitar, drums, debating, elocution, literary club, dramatics, cookery, finishing school (life skills, first aid and lifesaving skills, fitness, public speaking, culinary, home management skills, basic grooming and social graces), western and classical dance.
Admission
The admission procedure is as follows:
1. After registration, the candidates are assessed on their academic capabilities in English, Math, and General Knowledge.
2. The assessment if followed by an interview interpreting the scores achieved by the student in presence of their parents.
3. Admission is based strictly on merit.
Fees: The annual fee including tuition and boarding charges is Rs. 3,18,000.
Achievements
-Ecole student of grade VII participated in the Open State Judo Championship and won Bronze Medal. He also won bronze medal in youth and Junior State Judo Championship.
