Overview
Promoted in 2002 by the Delhi Public Society (DPS), Delhi Public School, Pinjore, is sited on a 12 acre campus in the picturesque Pinjore valley in Panchkula district of Haryana. It is a day-cum-residential co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The infrastructure has been suitably planned to facilitate learning and all around development of the children.

Campus
Sprawling over 12 acres, DPS Pinjore is sited on a pollution free campus at the foothills of the Shivalik range. The pre-primary section is housed in a junior wing which comprises colorful attractive classrooms and outdoor playpen with swing, slides and jungle gym. For senior students the campus offers world-class technology enabled classrooms, well equipped modern laboratories, language lab, art and craft studio, and outdoor science park, besides a well stocked library with a wide variety of books, magazine, periodicals and magazines.
Accomodation
DPS Pinjore provides state-of-the-art accommodation facilities for girls and boys. Eight students of the same age group are housed in a dormitory.
The hostel also houses a health centre under the supervision of a team of doctors for providing facilities of medical check-up and treatment to resident students along with qualified nurses who are in attendance 24 hours a day.
Academics
At DPS Pinjore, the academic year runs from April to March and the school follows the CBSE syllabus. It offers education to students from playgroup to class XII. Students can choose between arts, commerce and science streams in class XI.
Extracurricular: The school encourages participation in a range of extracurricular activities such as Karate, yoga, athletics, swimming, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, foreign languages, cookery, art and craft, modern dance, vocal music and literacy mission. Besides, it also organizes cultural programmes, science fairs, fun-filled games, picnic and package tours for the students.
Admission
Application form is available on the school website or can be obtained from the school office. A duly filled in application form needs to be submitted with non-refundable registration fee, a copy of the birth certificate, and last two years report card. For admission to class III and above, students need to write an admission test. The candidates are selected based on their performance in the test and availability of seats.
Fees: Annual composite fee for day scholars varies from Rs 43,000 to Rs 45,000. For boarders, the annual fee varies from Rs 1, 90,000 to Rs 1, 94,000.
