Overview
Delhi Public School (DPS), Numaligarh is a day cum co-educational residential school, established on September 12, 1997. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from Nursery through class XII. The school aims to render quality education to the residents of Numaligarh and neighbouring places in Assam. The school started with 55 students under the founder principal.
The school motto ‘Service before Self’ is the foundation for students to direct their quest for self-confidence and leadership roles.
Campus
DPS Numaligarh campus is sited amidst picturesque hills and tea estates, providing an ideal environment for holistic development of the children. The school hosts separate blocks for junior and senior sections and each classroom is equipped with modern teaching aids. The school houses two libraries for Senior and Junior sections with a vast collection of books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers, Art room and Audio-Visual room. Science laboratories are well equipped and the mathematics laboratory offers learning through practical applications. The music room offers a wide range of Indian and Western musical instruments where all classes get to practice at least once a week. The school clinic provides regular medical checkups besides catering to daily medical needs of the students.
Accomodation
DPS, Numaligarh offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Both hostels are located within the school campus and provide students with an ideal home away from home. Hostel seats are available for students of class I and above. The hostels offer spacious rooms and all basic amenities. Hostel residents are provided extra coaching and have a greater opportunity to develop all round skills.

Admission
Parents can collect the admission registration form in the month of November from the school office by making a payment of Rs 600. Admissions are done on the basis of written test and qualifying interview. The written test covers subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Hindi, Assamese, General Knowledge and Social Science.
Fees: The school fee can be paid in one installment or quarterly as per the fee structure on or before the due dates.
