Overview
Founded in 2006, Delhi Public School (DPS), Kamptee Road, Nagpur is an English medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school is managed by the Delhi Public School (DPS) Society, New Delhi which boasts more than 140 schools across the globe and 60 years of schooling experience. Along with focusing on academic excellence, the school emphasises on development of personal, social, physical, spiritual and emotional aspect of each child for their all round development.
Campus
Sited amidst verdant surroundings, DPS Nagpur boasts spacious well lit classrooms, a well stocked library featuring a wide range of books and journals, an activity hall, a dance room, a music area, a resource centre and an art room. It hosts well equipped separate laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and computers.
The school also hosts a 400 meter track, space for organising athletic events, a football ground, separate courts for hockey, volleyball, basketball, handball, lawn tennis and a jungle gym as part of the sporting facilities.
The school also offers transport and medical facilities for the convenience and safety of the students.

Being a day school, it does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
Affiliated with the Central Board of Education (CBSE), New Delhi, DPS Nagpur offers schooling from preschool through class XII. Subjects offered include physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, Hindi, English, computer science and home science along with practical classes. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities such as drama, music and dance. Sporting activities include basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, hockey, hand ball, chess, table tennis and lawn tennis.

Admission notification is usually published in leading newspapers. Prospectus should be purchased from the school office. Duly filled registration form should be submitted to the school office along with the registration fee within the stipulated date.
Age criteria as on April 1 of the year of admission:
Pre-Nursery – 2.5 years
Nursery - 3.5 years
Preparatory - 4.5 years
Class – I - 5.5 years

Pre-School to class I: - Original Birth Certificate/Original TC (if the child has attended another school)
Class II onwards: - Original TC duly attested by the Education Office/Secretary CBSE
