Overview
Delhi Public School (DPS), Jaipur is sited on the NH8, Ajmer-Jaipur highway and is a franchisee school of the Delhi Public School Society (estb. 1949) which runs which runs 140 Delhi Public Schools countrywide. DPS, Jaipur offers nursery to class XII education and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The motto of the school is "Service before self” and special emphasis is placed on instilling in students a spirit of community service.
The co-educational school also offers separate hostel facilities for girls and boys.
Campus
DPS, Jaipur offers impressive infrastructure facilities on a sprawling eco-friendly campus. The Smart classrooms enable teachers to incorporate ICT into the teaching-learning experience. The physics, chemistry and biology labs are fitted with the latest equipment. A well-stocked library is in place to provide academic support.

Academics
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).and prepares students for its class X and XII exams. There are no exams from nursery to class II. Assessment of students is based on class assignments. From class III onwards, the academic year is divided into four evaluation cycles with 25 marks weightage given to each cycle. The school follows the CBSE mandated CCE (continuous and comprehensive evaluation) system.
At the Plus Two (classes XI-XII), a choice of three streams – humanities, science and commerce – is offered.
Extracurricular:
The school’s students are grouped under six houses and various inter-house tournaments are held to foster a spirit of healthy competition. The houses are - Yamuna, Ganga, Sutlej, Jhelum, Ravi and Chenab. Actvities range from sports and agmes to music, art, elocution and theatre.
Admission
Children should be 3 years old by April 1 of the year in which the admission is sought to nursery. A student is registered only after the duly filled registration form is submitted to the school. The registration fee is Rs.1000. Students who have attended another school will not be admitted until a transfer certificate is produced.
