Overview
Delhi Public School (DPS), Khajaguda, Hyderabad is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Started in 2002, the school is a joint effort of Vidyananda Educational Society the Delhi Public School Society, Delhi. The school offers education from nursery through class XII.
Campus
Spread over 6.5 acres, the school campus hosts spacious classrooms, a library stocked with over 30,000 books, well equipped labs for science and computer, AV room, infirmary and an amphitheatre.
The sports facilities include an indoor games room, mini golf course, swimming pool, skating rink and large playground with facilities for various outdoor sports.
Accomodation
Being a day school, DPS, Khajaguda Hyderabad does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
Affiliated with CBSE, the school offers classes from nursery through class XII. At the nursery level, the school’s assessment method is based on the child’s daily interaction in the class, his/her levels of general awareness, the quality of work produced by him/her, internalisation of the concepts taught during the course of classroom interaction and the consequent learning outcomes throughout the year.
For classes I to IV, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is adopted and includes written tests, internal assessments and a formal examination at the end of the year.
Admission
Admission to class XI (Science, Commerce & Humanities Stream):
Registration forms must be submitted within three days from the date of receipt of the registration form and admissions are offered on first-come-first-served basis.
Admission to LKG, UKG and class I
For LKG, the age criteria for admission is 3.6 years, 4.6 years for UKG and 5.6 years for class I as on June 30 of the year in which admission is sought.

Student of DPS, Khajaguda, Hyderabad, Master Suhit Rakshit of class X has been selected to receive National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement to be conferred by the President of India in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Children's Day, the November 14, 2015.
