Overview
Promoted by Superhouse Education Foundation, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bareilly was founded in 2002 under the aegis of DPS Society. It is a coeducational English medium school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and boasts highly trained and dedicated faculty to mould the young students into responsible adults.
Campus
DPS Bareilly is sited on a 12 acre campus with an aesthetically designed building hosting spacious classrooms, air conditioned labs, mirrored dance rooms, separate music room, gymnasium and swimming pool. Integrating new technology in teaching, the classrooms are equipped with Educomp Smart Class, air conditioned and equipped with state of the art instruments. The separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs offer an ideal, hands-on learning experience for budding scientists. The school also hosts a math lab, language lab and computer lab. The computer lab houses more than 50 systems with latest software and internet connection.
The school library features a myriad of books that include 5532 reference books, various magazines, dailies and periodicals. The school canteen provides hygienically prepared meals and clean drinking water. The school’s 2 bedded infirmary is managed by a trained nurse. The school also provides a fleet of buses and vans to meet the transportation needs of the students.
Academics
DPS, Bareilly is affiliated with CBSE and offers classes from nursery to class XII. For classes XI and XII, the school offers Science or Commerce streams. Using student oriented methods instills confidence and helps students develop various life skills.
Extracurricular:
Extracurricular activities are encouraged for the holistic development of the students. Seminars, workshops,
Debates, quizzes and cultural activities like song and dance are regularly organised. Students are encouraged to compete among themselves to foster a spirit of healthy competition. Sports such as cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, chess, kho-kho and athletics are encouraged and coaching provided. Trips to various places and class picnics are also organized.
Admission
Registration form and prospectus is available at the school counter which needs to be filled in and submitted within the stipulated date. Admission to Nursery is done on the basis of Observation/Interaction with the student. Written evaluation is conducted for admission from Class I to Class XII. Only candidates who clear the written exam will be called for interaction in the presence of both the parents.

DPS Bareilly's working model of Cycle Generator, on the theme Green Energy, won accolades at the Regional Level Science Exhibition, Science Exhibition - Modern School, New Delhi, UP State Level Science Competition and Edufest.
Students of DPS Bareilly have participated in noted events such as Youth Against Corruption, Painting Competition, CBSE Heritage Quiz, the Annual Inter SEF Quiz, Club Mahindra Painting Competition, Inter DPS Debate Competition and Limca Book of Records Quiz.
