Overview
Promoted in the year 1991, Chaman Vatika Residential Public School, Ambala is a coeducational, English medium school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi (CISCE) and the University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK (CIE). Managed by the Chaman Vatika Educational Society, the school offers classes from Nursery through class XII.

Campus
The 27 acre school campus facilitates an ideal learning environment for the students, with spacious and well-ventilated classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids, separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths and two well equipped computer labs with wi-fi connection for 32 computers in each lab.
The school encourages sports facilities such as athletics, swimming, billiards, skating, badminton, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, cricket, snooker, soccer, throw ball, cross country, cycling, martial arts, weight training and swimming pool.
The school campus houses huge playgrounds and a well equipped hall for indoor games such as chess and scrabble.
Accomodation
The school offers separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned. Hostel facilities include dining hall, 24 hour hot and cold water in both the hostels and complete electricity backup. The food is prepared under hygienic conditions.
The hostel provides recreational facilities such as table tennis, board games, cable TV, video, DVD players, computers with internet access, telephones, newspapers clothing/linen store and a kitchen.
The hostel hosts a health center which provides routine medical check-up for the students.
Academics
Chaman Vatika Residential School is affiliated with CISCE, New Delhi and CIE, U.K. and offers classes from Nursery to class XII.
The school conducts interactive counseling sessions for students of class VIII and class X.
In class VIII, students can choose subjects of their interest from a number of subjects. A student of class IX can choose any 3 subjects out of 6 subjects.
Admission
Admissions are open for classes I to VIII in the month of April. Registration forms are to be filled in and submitted to the school office before the end of the registration period. Only day-boarder students are admitted in pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten classes.
For admission in pre-nursery, a child should have completed 3 years as on September 30 of the year of admission while for nursery the child should have completed 4 years of age.
For classes III to VIII, admission depends on the availability of seats.
For class XI, admissions commence after the declaration of board results.The admission is based on the board result (60 percent weightage), internal admission test (20 percent weightage) and interview (20 percentage weightage).
