Overview
Blue Bells Model School sited at Sector 4, Gurgaon is a co–educational English medium school founded on November 10, 1980, by the D.R. Memorial Bal Shiksha Vikas Society. Coming from a humble beginning, this versatile institution has today grown into a fully fledged senior secondary school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) and offering education from class III to class XII.
The school aims at “imparting quality education and facilitating holistic development of students”, and places emphasis on co curricular activities and sports alongside academics.

Campus
The three-storeyed academic Block of the school hosts spacious and well-ventilated classrooms and an examination cell. The ‘J.D.Memorial Hall’ is an assembly cum exhibition hall equipped with the latest and most sophisticated light and sound system to host events and functions.
The primary wing library caters to the specific needs of the primary children and features a collection of 11,000 books, while the senior wing library is well-equipped with over 20,000 books with separate text and reference sections.
The science block is a double-storied block comprising of a spacious physics lab, chemistry lab, biology lab, computer lab, math lab and fashion studies lab. The school offers a separate fine art room where students are taught art-education under the guidance of competent art teachers. The school has two music halls to provide ingenious training in vocal and instrumental music, classical and western dancing.
The indoor sports room is a spacious hall that caters to table-tennis and other indoor games such as carom, chess, etc.
The school also provides transport facility to the students.
Academics
The school is affiliated with CBSE and offers education from class III to class XII. At the senior secondary level, the school offers science (medical and non-medical), commerce and humanities streams.
Extracurricular: The school offers a wide spectrum of co–curricular activities through House system and activity clubs. It actively encourages the students to engage in fine arts, commercial art, vocal music, home science, dance, community service, social work, dramatics and gardening.
Admission
The intake points for admission are classes III and XI depending upon the number of seats in respective classes. Vacancies in the other classes are limited and subjected to vacancies.
Students seeking admission to class III should be 7 years and 6 months of age on April 1 of the year of admission. Admission is granted only after the student qualifies the entrance test and interactive session. Only students from C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E. or state boards shall be registered for classes III to XI. Report card and original transfer certificate from the school last attended need to be submitted.
