Founded in 1998, Birla School, Kalyan is a coeducational public school managed by Kalyan Citizen’s Education Society (KCES) and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Campus
The 6 acre school campus hosts IT enabled classrooms, IT lab, five science lab, geography and math lab, well-stocked library features vast collection of books, av room, activity hall, sports room & playgrounds, amphi theatres, resource room, kids pool and play pen, and activity rooms.
Accomodation
Being a day school, it does not offer accommodation facility.
Academics
Birla School is affiliated with CBSE and follows the syllabi of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
The school offers education from primary level through class XII.
Birla School encourages students to participate in various sports and co-curricular activities such as Yoga, martial arts, aerobics, music (singing and instrumental), dance (classical and contemporary), art and craft, maths club, reading club, science club, nature club, oratorical club, art and craft club, creative club, drama club and sports club.
Admission
Admission process begins in the month of December/ January every year.

Selection of candidates is through the computerised lottery conducted in the presence of PTA members.
The list of selected students duly signed by PTA members is put up on the school's website.
Admission to classes other than Nursery or newly formed divisions is subject to the vacancies.
The minimum age criteria for Nursery is 3 years as on 31st July of the year of admission.
