Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida was set up in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, and supported by Birla group of companies.

Academics
BIMTECH offers the following programmes:
PhD/Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) - Centre for Research Studies conducts doctoral and post-doctoral programmes. PHD programme is offered in collaboration with University of Mysore, Mysore (Karnataka); Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Rajasthan and University of Assam, Silchar. FPM is a popular autonomous doctoral programme approved by AICTE.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - During the six trimesters, besides three core courses, students are required to submit winter dissertation under the supervision of a mentor. During the two-year programme, 1250 hours of class room teaching is provided along with extra and co-curriculum activities that are parts of the programme.
Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDM-IB)- The PGDM-IB is a two-year, AICTE-approved, full-time programme focused on international and global business relationships as well as the import/export business. The number of applicants admitted to this programme is limited to 60 currently.
PGDM-IBM (Insurance Business Management)
PGDM (RM) - The Retail Management Programme Is an AICTE-approved two-year full-time education focused on retailing and merchandising management. The PGDM (RM) programme is the pioneer two-year full-time programme in Retail Management approved by AICTE.
Admission
Selection Procedure:
The admission process is as follows:
STEP I: APPLICATION
(1) Procurement of Form: Application form (common for all the programmes) is available on BIMTECH website www.bimtech.ac.in.
(2) Filling up the application form: Application form can be filled online followed by payment of Rs.1500/- through Credit/ Debit Card.
STEP II: GD/PI-CALL, VENUE AND DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Call for Group Discussion and Personal Interview:
The second step includes group discussion, essay writing and personal interview.
GD & PI call letters will be sent on the e-mail id provided in the application. A hard copy of the call letter will also be sent on the address provided in the application form.
Fees - Tuition fee is as follows:
PGDM 2 Year, Full Time (Equivalence to MBA by AIU) - Rs. 10,00,000/- (2 years)
PGDM (International Business) 2 Year, Full Time - Rs. 10,00,000/- (2 years)
PGDM (Insurance Business Management) - Rs. 8,00,000/-
