Overview
As the preschool section of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya (MSMSV), Jaipur, Balvatika caters to the early learning needs of children between 3 to 5.5 years of age. The preschool follows a child centred approach with emphasis on child's active interaction with the environment and development of concepts and attitudes.
Campus
Balvatika occupies the most attractive part of the MSMSV campus. Lined with green trees and lush lawns, the campus offers an ideal environment for learning. The classrooms are housed in hut like structures.
Academics
The preschool follows development oriented and child-centric approach and its curriculum emphasises on 'Multiple Intelligences'.
The early learning programmes offered are:
First level or Introductory (Entry point 3 to 4 year olds)
Second level or KG (for 3.5 to 4.5 year olds)
Third level or Preparatory (for 4.5 to 5.5 year olds)
Admission
The child's age should be minimum 3 years and maximum 4 years as on 31st March of the year of admission into the Introductory or first level of Balvatika. The admission to Introductory is finalised by randomisation under different categories after the registrations are completed.
