Amity International School, sited at Sector 46, Gurgaon is the sixth in the chain of 7 schools established by Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), New Delhi, founded by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan. It is an English medium co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school aims at developing mental, physical, spiritual potential of each child and endeavours at their acquiring conceptual knowledge. Teacher student ratio of this school is 1:17.
Campus
The school offers spacious, well ventilated and comfortably furnished classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids and interactive white boards. The school offers two libraries for the junior and senior sections, featuring over 25,000 books, 100 periodicals and a variety of educational CDs and DVDs. The school is also equipped with four modern air-conditioned computer laboratories with internet facility and science laboratories with modern instruments with a capacity to accommodate 45 students at one go. The campus also offers a huge play ground, transport, health clinic, and canteen and book shop.

Academics
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and provides education from class I to senior secondary level. The school also follows the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) system which aims at the holistic development of each student. There is no formal examination till class IV. Apart from the prescribed CBSE syllabus the school also offers coaching to students for the competitive entrance examinations.
Extracurricular: The school encourages students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities including classical and western music, dance, pottery and ceramic art. Sports activities include cricket, football, lawn tennis, basket ball, hockey, skating, yoga, martial arts, archery, rock climbing, athletics, table tennis, badminton and chess.
The school organizes various Olympiads from time to time such as National Science Olympiad, International Informatics Olympiad and Ramanujan International Math Olympiad.
Admission
Notification for admission is published in the leading newspapers. Admission and registration forms can be either collected from the school office or can be downloaded from the school website. Duly filled in forms need to be submitted along with the photocopies of the previous year’s report card and birth certificate. Applicants are required to write an entrance test within 15 days from the date of submission of the forms. The school does not admit students in class XII.
